Newmat Australia is proud to showcase its latest completed project set within the evolving Sydney Fish Market precinct at Blackwattle Bay – the refurbishment of Musumeci Seafood. A vibrant upgrade that blends architectural vision with innovative ceiling design.
Working in collaboration with Chee Lam Design & Trinity Shop Fitting, Newmat delivered approximately 40 square metres of translucent, backlit stretch ceiling boxes. These installations create a clean, modern aesthetic while providing soft, even illumination that enhances the customer experience within the space.
The use of translucent stretch ceilings allowed for a seamless integration of lighting and surface, achieving both functional and visual impact. The result is a bright, inviting retail environment that reflects the premium quality of the Musumeci brand.
This project highlights Newmat’s ability to adapt its stretch ceiling systems to meet bespoke architectural requirements, contributing to a refined and contemporary interior finish.
