ACOUSTIC MIRRORED PANELS BY NEWMAT AT NEW ANZ WORKPLACE
ANZ’s workplace on Sydney’s Pitt Street recently underwent a complete re-design, with an eye-catching acoustic printed mirrored ceiling by NEWMAT Australia spanning the multi-use café and meeting spaces on Level 14.
77 sqm of NEWMAT Australia’s silver mirror (MR01 Miroir Argent) finish was installed across 32 panels. Printed with a bespoke rippled graphic that was developed with the client, the feature ceiling marries two important objectives: reflectivity and customisation. To ensure optimised acoustics in this high-traffic area, insulation was fixed behind these lightweight panels to achieve an NRC of 0.9 without any perforations.
Designed by Hot Black and brought to life by Shape Australia, the contemporary fit-out incorporates zones that flow into one another seamlessly, with NEWMAT Australia’s mirrored ceiling unifying the entire space. Vibrant, open and flexible, this redesigned space is part of ANZ’s mission to promote wellbeing and incorporates other dynamic features such as a living wall, screens and operable walls.
